Dear FOA Community,
Alas, the crazy summer season is winding down and while back to school is on everybody’s mind, the Board is looking to 2024! Here are our updates from the past couple of months.
Membership Renewal: Our membership renewal period is coming to an end. We sent out many emails and made Facebook posts launching our new website and renewal process. Thank you for being patient as we worked out the kinks and thank you to NGage (Drew!) and our Board Members (Vikke, Kai Lee, and Fiona!) who spent countless hours tweaking and revising the website and renewal process. If you did not renew by 8/15, you lost access to our Website resources, past Lunch and Learns, and Facebook sites. If you see some of your favorite fellow franchisees missing in action, please reach out and encourage them to rejoin!
New Member Campaign: We will be launching a new member outreach campaign in September/October of this year. This campaign will target franchisees in the system who have not been an active FOA Member in a while… or ever! We know they can benefit from the FOA and we know the FOA will benefit from more members! If you are willing to help us with this outreach by making some phone calls, please let us know.
2024 Board Updates: In our last couple of communications we asked for nominations for 2024 Board Members. We are happy with the response we received and nominations have been closed so that we can work on next steps. Stay tuned for new Board Member announcements this fall!
We continue to work on many other initiatives including:
- Preparations for our October SLI Meeting
- Bright Horizons conversations with Corporate
- Alternate Juniper replacement option through Comcast
- License Agreement Renewal Committee
- TAG: Updating Jacob on Top 10 requests after HUB transitions
- L&L: Join us on 8/23 for New Member L&L and check out our schedule for the remaining L&Ls for the year.
- PVP: Always meeting with new vendors– let us know if you have new ideas/connections!
- NAC: Data requests for promos and seasonal promotion cycles
- Education: ePrep/SAT changes to curriculum and rollout
- Strategic 5-10 year planning for FOA Board (submit any ideas/suggestions to Drew or myself!)
